Quartz

Quartz is one of the most common minerals on Earth. When you hear a stone referred to as a crystal, it’s typically quartz. It’s made of silicon and oxygen atoms. Quartz symbolizes mental clarity and spiritual balance. There are many different variations of quartz, each with different elements added to its unique composition, causing different color variations and textures.

  • Agate - Quartz with silica and chalcedony. Agate symbolizes mental harmony.

  • Amethyst - Quartz formed in iron-rich areas. Amethyst symbolizes tranquility.

  • Aventurine - Quartz with mica inclusions. Aventurine symbolizes confidence.

  • Carnelian - Quartz with impurities from oxidized iron. Carnelian symbolizes creativity.

  • Citrine - Quartz with impurities from oxidized iron. Citrine symbolizes vitality and prosperity.

  • Jasper - Quartz with chalcedony and other minerals. Jasper symbolizes emotional protection.

  • Onyx - Quartz with silica and chalcedony. Its bands are parallel. Onyx symbolizes strength.

Pyrite

Pyrite is made of iron sulfide and is commonly mistaken for gold (Fool’s Gold). Pyrite symbolizes success and power.

Amazonite

Amazonite is a variety of potassium feldspar. It symbolizes the balance of masculine and feminine energy.

Hematite

Made of iron oxide, hematite components are often confused with metal, mainly silver. Hematite symbolizes the connection of the body with Earth.

Lava Stone

Lava stone is made of molten lava, cooled on Earth’s surface. It symbolizes strength, courage, and stability

Garnet

Garnet is a silicate mineral. The name comes from the Latin word “garanatus” which means “seed like” (like a pomegranate). It symbolizes love and friendship.
